The Unanimous Decision (EE)

Here, a group decides. This is either the whole organisation or only a part of it, e.g. the department of which I am a member.

A decision is explicitly sought that everyone is convinced of (and not merely lacks sufficient resistance). This is what DAD calls high consenS or complete group acceptance (see consenS vs. consenT). In the end, there is a common opinion of having chosen the best alternative.

As a rule, the matter to be decided is then also worked out together. So a real decision does not take place at all. One integrates concerns and adapts the proposal again and again until all members are of the opinion that it is good.  This usually takes time and is very labour-intensive, which is why it is only used for existential questions.
